Google's acting a bit funny.

    Hey

    I have a personal blog, and google doesen't seem to be behaving the way I've read it is, so I just want to clarify.

    I wrote a small plugin for wordpress and got lots of links from blogs:
    If you check technorati, I have 415 links (all unique)
    (http://technorati.com/blogs/www.anirudhsanjeev.org?reactions)

    If you check google, I have 3 links (unique)
    (http://www.google.co.in/search?q=li...s=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a)

    If you check Yahoo or MSN they list around 500 each.

    Also my PageRank was 3 when I had four links in technorati and remains 3 when I have 415

    Disclaimer: This is for a personal blog and am not the least bit interested in optimizing it for SEO. I'm just curious the way google works.

    well, after 500 unique links, many of them from PR5+ domains, you think that there'd be some change?
