Google's 2009 holidays gift to publishers - cheers Google!

Hey all,

So I just got the following e-mail from Google:

The link they provided along with the e-mail was to this: http://www.google.com/advertising/holiday2009/

...and the page there says that they're donating 20 million dollars to charities on behalf of all AdSense users.

I just want to say that it's a really good idea. This time of year we need to think about those in need.

So thank you Google and cheers!

 

Yeah, that's really good news. We should really thank our visitors, adsense, and the advertisers.

Also as the new year is just around the corner, we should care for those who really need help.

 

I too got the same message.
This is really a nice thought from GOOGLE.

 

I think this is not only gift to publishers but also to advertisers. We should also do this from our end. Not giving that much as G can but to the extent we can.

 

At least they didn't donate it to the Tiger Woods Foundation!
