Google's 2008 Q1 PageRank (PR) Update

It is PR2.

My directory www.jumbo-links.com went from PR0 to PR3. Not complaining, it's just few months old.

 

Google have updated it's PR already. a lot of websites got PR already so this update should be genuine.

 

Yes my directory has gone to pr4 from 3. No change on other sites.

I've picked up a few updates on several sites I've visited.

Some of the sites with updated PageRank:
-digpagerank.com
-statcounter.com
-several smaller blogs and forums

However, only a few sites had their PageRank changed in the past few days, so it *may* not be a PageRank update.

 

The update is still under way so hang on. I checked my Google Webmaster's tools and noticed some high PR sites of mine hadn't been crawled in a few days but others that don't usually get crawled got crawled 1/11/2008 and those sites all are showing PR changes on main and internal pages. I think it will be a few more days until we see the complete results.

I did call this one right and said they would be doing another update in the first few weeks of January, so I was burning the midnight oil building "white hat" backlinks like crazy. so far I've had 3 sites go from PR0 to PR3 and two sites got from PR0 to PR4. The two PR4 sites I had penalized last update down to PR3 both went to PR5 and I'm crossing my fingers two of my sites will hit PR6 before the updates over.

Out of 63 sites I have, now every single one is PR2 or greater. It's been almost three years of work but besides the PR, I'm finally seeing almost a 300K hits per day across the network and I'm consistently breaking $100 per day in earnings. Next goal is 1 million hits and $500 per day.

Hope everybody else is making long term plans and sticking to them. That's the only way this business pays off. Honesty and White Hat techniqes also build a better long term strategy.

oh, and btw, I'll risk my rep here that the Q2 (next) update will happen around the middle of April. So start building a strategy *now* for the next one.

50% of my sites have changed so far

 

that is a very strange update.I have already pr3 for inner pages but no changes for the home page.That is odd

 

That isn't odd. It happens to many sites during every update. And no, it isn't a strange update.

 

Just noticed Statcounter isn't a PR10 anymore .

PR updates are happening right now. 2 of my sites increased in pr.

 

my blog went from PR3 to PR0 for reasons that I cannot figure out. Any ideas folks?

 

So far, mine has done the same. I'm seeing a lot of datacenters as down so I'm holding out hope that it will come back. I got hit last time around by the link seller hit so maybe this is an extension of that?

 

My new PR0 site hasn't updated yet... or will it be? :\

 

Still PR0, but I'm not updated yet. Over 2-3k backlinks, including from places like seobook...heh I'm a little excited, although in general I believe the pagerank toolbar is the opiate of the masses, making web masters drool onto, and eventually short out, their keyboards.

 

my domain www.soccer-goals.tv has increased to 4. It was 0 and it s a new page. what a surprise : ))

 

still no updates on my websites... still waiting. i hope it happens soon. i don't care that much about PR but when it's updating i always keep my fingers crossed i hope i reach PR 5 or even PR 6 this update. this would really be awesome.

 

no changes on mine either yet.... almost all pr chrcking tools are broken.... can anyone suggest a tool that's working fine and shows PR from different datacenters.
