Google's 2008 Q1 PageRank (PR) Update

Hey i got a PR update from my site. It opened with PR1 and seems gud as its a very new site.
I guess Serps are proportional to The PR so PR does help in improving serps and thus traffic to the site. Isnt that right.

ya links are improving but toolbar is showing the previous page rank

 

there is a site to which page rank has increased in toolbar which was 5 previously

 

i think it started already, Take a look at this Blog, http://textandquotes.blogspot.com. A Blog dedicated for text messages and quotes. I noticed that it have its first post on December 17, 2007 and in just 3 weeks, it got a PR2. So, it means that the pr update has began.

 

My iPhone website jumped from PR0 to PR4
Another site of mine dropped down 1 PR point.

Something going on ...

 

is the update still going on? because on one of my sites two of the interior pages have pr3, however the homepage and other pages don't have any pr yet.

 

Wow my blog went from a BIG 0 to page 4 not bad~~~

my site homepage PR haven't showed any changes yet but the inner pages got PR 3 .... How come ???

will the homepage PR get updated ??? i was looking for the homepage to get PR 5

 

i think page rank has nothing to do with the serp,s i am sure.

 

my home page PR is still 0 while 1 of my sites inner page is having PR 1 and 1 inner page having PR 3.


any suggestion for me, is pr updation is still in progress or over,

 

by going through this thread there are few more site owners having the same probs of getting PR to inner pages and no changes of homepage PR.

same happened to my new site ... Homepage PR havent showed any changes (PR 0) but the inner pages got PR 3.

 

Well my websites which are 3 years OLD went to PR 4 from PR 6 google sucks ....i dont have outgoing links

 

That sucks, I went from PR0 to PR0 I have 1,039 Backlinks, some PR4 and PR5 and a couple of PR5 .edu's

Total bull shit.

The update better bloody not be finished...

 

my home page is still 0 while 3 inner pages are showing PR 1,2,3 .. is pr still being updated or its over, why this is happening,
is there any tool that i can know when google cached my site.

 

it looks like a lot of us have interior pages with pr, and home pages without pr. I'm guessing the homepage pr will eventually be updated. I guess the update takes a while to completely finish. (It would be hard for me to believe that 2 random interior pages on my site will have pr 3, while the home page won't have any pr, even though all my backlinks go to my home page.)

 

Maybe the PR update not finished...Be patient or call Matt Cutts

 

inner page pr is higher than homepage if they get more backinks.
