    One of my site I manage went from PR4 to 0. Last week, I removed the links and asked for reconsideration. Today it has got PR3 back! ;)

    Well Google just decided thanks to your post that they will no longer be updating PR and you will just have to work on quality content and back lines without knowing where you stand in term of some rank


    Well that's at least what I wish they would do but instead well every 3 months or so.

    The last pr update was 10/26/07. Still plenty of time left for you to build links and get a good pr. :)

    Say Q1 of 2008 as the last one was Q4 of 2007.

    I had applied one site for re-consideration that site seems to be added in pr pool again, I have applied one more site, even that one does not sell links, but had purchased couple links for that, but not any more.

    they do it quarterly. Although the last one was late, my guess is beginning of january for the new year.
    Maybe read the other 5 million threads on this before posting.

    It is difficult to even predict the month that they would update the PR on mass scale. However some back stage developments are happening on a daily basis.

    I suggest you to concentrate more on building links than bothering yourself to get PR. Sooner you can have PR once you get quality links. By building links you can improved SERP even you don't have PR.
