Google's 2007 Q4 PageRank (PR) Update - 10/13/07

I never said it was dead, but i did, and still, question its value. It seems that PR is nothing more then bragging rights, but im cool with that.

I'm just glad I won't have a PR 0 anymore. 7 months of that sucked lol

 

Hehe, of course PR only matters to those that are looking at it as an investment and money-making tool.

As for Page Rate, that was just made up crap.

Personally, I'd like to see someone make a SERP Rank, which would be of more value. We wouldn't even need Google's support on that.

 

Id like a new thread poll that has PR 0 to PR 7+ and see how people fared.

I know many of my new sites went to mostly 2's and 3's. Surprised so low especially considering the amount of traffic some of them get (1000 uniques a day one the popular ones).

 

some increases, some decreases, some stay the same. overall i'd say more decreases than increases. i'm not convinced these new numbers are totally set in stone yet though due to the fact that youtube.com is showing pr 3 and other strange behavior (google.com pr n/a)

 

Yes, its' moving now, finally.. One of my site is going from 0 to 4...

half of data centers is showing 0 and the others 4... This is so great!!!.

 

PR went up for most sites I am working on, but far more important -

RANKINGS ARE WAY UP as well

Seems they pushed out more than just TBPR. Anyone else seeing changes in their serps??

My main website jumped a lot from PR0 to PR3

My environment site went from PR 0 to PR 4
My 2nd environment site went from PR 0 to PR 3 (with no advertising at all)
Two sites dropped by 1

But I like it

At last! Some great changes for my domains and minor drops on unupdated sites. Next goal, PR8

Just checked two sites at my sig, they're both showing changes.
From PR2 to PR3 and the other one from N/A to PR3 and some pages also got PR, even PR4. Though I was hoping to get at least PR4, but I'm quite satisfied if it's the final result.

My other sites also show some updates, as I said some increase and others lose their PR. Oh, well... let's just wait for the final result.
