Google's 2007 Q4 PageRank (PR) Update - 10/13/07

True...it really doesn't make much diff to me, but I've just been curious to see how I rank...and I guess now I know...PR N/A

 

Mine has stayed the same. As fair as im aware google are just editting some of the pagerank for alot of the sites who have been caught paying for links, which is why people are reporting loosing pr rankings.

 

Not true. They dropped PR for some sites that were caught SELLING links, not buying. Is a huge difference.

As has been posted many times in this thread already - Is not a "full update". They probably did this mini-update separately so everyone would notice they are slamming link sellers.

 

Update took place between the end of july and completed between 1-5 august and just a prove on this

I totally agree that they are sending a message to the blatency of link selling!!

How does Google make their money for the stock holders again????

Besides!! Why do you think that Google is coming out with all of these membership functions such as Goog Anaylitics?? My opinion is that the little green meter will be controlled by their system in determining the PR!! Just My Opinion!! I hope that is wrong!! We will see here shortly I hear!!

 

This is an extreme disappointment. I see no reason of why the PR of one of my sites dropped from 4 to 3. Moreover, the number of backlinks on Google is now zero for the site...

 

Still no change for me, but I expect it'll be at least a few more days before we see the full update start, according to what Matt Cutts had said, as has been previously stated.

 

Yupeee yeee , i got an PR of 8 this time... the only problem is that's showing with RED and not with green in the google toolbar, lol

 

Is it a real update? Why this thread has been sticked? I saw no PR changed on my sites and it's doubt me about this thread.

 

Im not to concerned about no page rank update. Even with PR0 some of my sites are now ranking first with google.

 

There was no global PR update. Some directories had their PR decreased, but that is different from what people refer to as a "PR update" which effects the billions of sites on the internet.

No changes too.. those changes maybe on directories only.. I don't think they had done the mass PR update yet..

 

It's just in the hope that people will spot it first and not keep starting new threads about the same topic, thats what happened here before they started making the PR threads sticky.

i hope ur kiding because i dont believe that a member with 10000 psts really believe that anyone knows when a pr update will be start...
