Google's 2007-Q3/Q4 PageRank (PR) Update

Google updates there public PR every 3-4 months. The last update was 3 months ago, so we assume the update will be coming in the next 2-4 weeks since it has yet to happen.

 

google emailed me and told me they aren't doing the "page rank" type ranking anymore.. sorry

 

It was Larry Page or Sergey Brin?

 

it was signed LP so I'm guessing it's Mr Page.

They emailed me too, but since there was no reply, they tried to call me, no one picked up the phone, they came to my home to tell me that ^^^

No one never knows, and this is the reason to the amount of replies in this thread.

 

Your prediction is good and this thread seems to be one of the longest I have ever seen. PR is really driving people crazy. I think you should better concentrate on unique content and better website structures.

 

The next PageRank update will be… ok I don’t know exactly when it’s going to be. We can, however, get somewhat of an idea by looking at the history of updates:

Over the last two years Google has updated PageRank 10 times, on average once every two and a half months. As you can see by looking at the dates that the distance between PageRank updates has spread out a little in the last year. For that reason I’m predicting that the next update will happen three and a half months after the last update - August 13, 2007. It’s fun to guess the date that the update will happen, but what’s important is that you know that it could happen today. We don’t have any time to waste so let’s get to it!

 

The Backlink update is going on so Pr update is not far away I expect it this week.

I predict that Google will export a PR snapshot for the tool bar sometime in the future. I further predict that some people will be happy with the results, some unhappy and some ambivalent.
