all my sites are PR10 on the 'Geraldm' scale, so beat that!!

- Gerald - don't try to compete. If you do you will only be punished by having your site pushed to the back of the search engines. Just get in line, close your eyes, and follow the crowd. This is the only route to success.

The entire thread is BS my friend. I've been reading it from the onset and the same questions, answers, arguments, keep reappearing day after day after day.

A little nonsensical humor is in order from time to time on this thread to nowhere imo.

so sorry for coming back with the reply and to google pr.

1.google has no right to tell others what to do or what not to do.if you had read aldous huxley's 'brave new world' you will know what i mean.
i guess that is the problem with all bog organisaitons,they just cannot resist flexing their muscles.

2.regarding the latest on paid links,well the bad news is for those who are selling them via directories like TLA.it really does not affect most of the bloggers who can buy paid links still.google better not tell me what to use for tags and what not to use.otherwise,i shall just take 'use' turn it around and 'sue' them.that is a promise!

3.regarding google and microsoft,well i am not sure if u guys have heard it but the latest is that Bill gates just lost his appeal against Europe fining him 690 million dollars for unfair trade practises.the reason i am sayiong this is that google may not like its competition,but it damm well cannot tell the webmasters what to do and what not to do!sure,paid links may raise the PR,so what.you do not like it,then get rid off the pr itself.

4.yes,get rid of this stupid pr system once and for all.this way google will not be doing anything unethical and the world will be a safer place.honestly,all this going back and forth has given me a headacher.sure,google does not like it,yahoo does not like it,but so what.paid links is a legimitate business and if the pr registers the paid links as real links then it is the pr's problem, and not the company which gives out the paid links or the people who buy them

5.i am supposed to report paid links when i see it on other websites,well,all i cna say to that is 'LMAO'.seriously,how can a blogger see if the links on the other websites are paid links or not?actually even google will have a very hard time figuring out whetehr the webmaster in question got the links for advertising or for jumping up the pr.either way if google enforces it,get ready for one hell of a lawsuit and this one will be universal effecting all webmasters.

 

one more thing,i am sure that real estate appraisal firms do not like real estate agencies since they tend to do all they can to 'hype' the price up kind of like the 'paid links' but it does not mean that they can shut them out.well,the next few days/months should be interesting at the very least!

Now that we're in the fourth quarter, we should probably talk about that instead of the third quarter update.

I know, I know, PR doesn't matter and maybe it's even going away, but maybe not. Maybe it'll even matter more in the future.

 

I am voting for a mauiman type of PR-scale as well. I have a slight change in mind. TheDean-PR!

Simple construction: I'll count all you backlinks from 5 search engines. I'll put that number in my blender, you PM me how many PaidLinks (PL) you have, I'll add that in my blender as well. Then you send me xxx-usd to my paypal, I'll add that number as well. Then on top off all I will tell you my algo for the world to understand my ranking (I am way more flexible then Google).

Total Backlinks of 5 search engines / 5 = BL/5 = N-BL
PaidLinks = PL
Deposit on my paypal =

TheDeanPR = (N-BL x (PL x ))/10,000

Example = 5000 x (20x30)/1,000,000 = 3 (TheDeanPR)

So it's official a new PR started, just PM me the URL and Paypal deposit ID and I will provide you this unique PR. No need to way 3-5 months on an update. Just make a new payment and you will get a new PR.

 

very funny.i think that what we are seeing now may well be the end of the pr system which was flawed to begin with.for any system to be totally effective you must always keep it simple and that is where google went wrong!
either way what they are doing now is just begging for a lawsuit to be filed against them for the MTRPS act.
