Google's 2007-Q3/Q4 PageRank (PR) Update

That date would seem more like the 4th quarter PR export, but with this being the longest time frame in between updates you never know lol

 

I've noticed changes too. One of my sites has dropped 1-2 positions for nearly all keyphrases & one site has drastically increased.

Had a huge drop a day before yesterday. Today its back to normal i think..

Do you mean PR or SERP?

 

I see some changes in the rankings, But no change in the PR.

 

I'm only talking about SERPs and not really interested in toolbar PR. But I have heard of SERP fluctuations when there is a toolbar update around the corner...

 

I saw a SERPs change but normal one, I don't think it's algo update.

 

How is it you were checking? PM me please if you don't mind, if the hack isn't working anymore it would be new, afaik. Thanks.

Well, Just You hope you will recover soon, keep optimizing and you will be fine.

 

I have also seen changes in results. Some good some bad but without question changes from yesterday to today and I checked a couple of keywords that the results are changing every few minutes.

Orkut homepage shows PR of 10 on IE {I know it sucks}with GTLBR but according to dig pagerank its still 8.....

 

Based on patterns of the past? What patterns? This is the longest google has ever gone without a pr update, so that statement can't possible be a prediction from past experience. Are you sure that blog post was even this year?

 

I noticed one of my clients was showing a PR 10 which would be sweet if it is right but I doubt they went from 0 to 10.

 

Updating the PR is not a priority with Google. They have other things that are more important to them.

DPR has over 600 ips. You can dig where it is PR10.

 

You sure? I'm seeing 8 everywhere... if there is a change then something must be happening... which dc's?

At the moment, just typical PR5 and PR0 on various DCs. It has been like that for a while which makes me unsure whether there is really an update.
