    1) "2-4 months old" — that is currently true (4 months) as we await the toolbar export.

    2) "...not what Google is currently using to do rankings" — not necessarily true. Unless you have done some aggressive link building, with a resulting rise in internal PR, your toolbar PR and your "real", internal PR are probably pretty much the same number. The toolbar PR is inaccurate only if it does not reflect new, quality links added since the last toolbar export. For those webmaster who have basically "maintained" the status quo with their websites, there is no reason for the toolbar PR and the current "real" PR to be much different.

    Lol. No i was expecting it to be on CNN. But im not to worried about PR. Even without the update. I am now ranked number one with google for a few of my sites.

    Seriously unless you are in a really dorky niche most don't even know what PR is... A friend has a blog that they work hard on, they got a PR7 sitewide from an authority in a link exchange... haha If you aren't in the webmaster / geek squad niche than it doesn't matter.

    All that should EVER really matter is traffic.
