No hard feelings against you at all. And you did not waste our time.

    Don't worry about it :)

Yea sure. Although you were checking it daily, you were blind enough not to see tens of posts which were about the same thing you asked on previous 2 pages.

    I love morons.

For the 1,000,000th time, it's not gonna vanish, it just may vanish from the toolbar.
It'll still be accessible from Google Webmaster Tools.

A theory: Perhaps Google has decided not to update PR every quarter but daily. What do you think?

Just an edit: by update PR I mean update PR toolbar.
Edit again: I mean changing the frequency of exproting PR to much shorter priod such as daily.

    1. Google already does that... It's called "everflux":

    Matt Cutts: What's an update?

    2. There is absolutely no way you're ever going to see public PR exported daily. First, Google isn't going to waste the resources to do that. And second, they have no interest in fueling what they already consider to be an unhealthy obsession among webmasters and link buyers and sellers with public PR.

Unfortunately I have to agree with Minstrel that this is a way for google to protect themselves and cure some SEO minds .. (or at least they hope so)

    Cheers,

    Venetsian.

One of my sites has had no PR change (still 0), but over the last 4 days or so it now appears at #2 in search results for a very popular search term - making it go from a few hundred hits a day to about 3-4 thousand. I hope it stays that way. :)

If thats true (which I dont believe) then why does SERP positions instantly change and fluctuate as soon as the toolbar update starts???

    I hate Matt Cutts

Getting all worked up over a stupid PR thread. Guys get a life! Here's a thought, close the thread and have the admin post an official PR update when it actually happens.

In regards to posting an official PR update, why? It saves for useless threads like this.

That's true - so I don't see any reason for them to export the PR data at all. They might have just stopped the export.
