You will show up as n/a if your site hasn't been cached by Google yet. When your site shows up as 0, it means that it has been cached. Hope that helps

And that tool is just a blatant plagaristic rip off of Darrin Ward's Google Dance Alert:
    http://web.archive.org/web/20030129014207/http://www.google-dance.com/
(Click on 'Dance Alerts' to see the old signup page.)
It also used to go off for no apparent reason...
I don't think it is possible to have a PR alert tool such as those that will not misfire.

Indeed, very wise words. Although despite not knowing the way that factor interacts algorithmically, I think we can safely assume that Page Rank is all about perceived trust.

Why don't you click my signature? I never hide anything.

I DID NOT say we only have PR0-3 links. What I did say was that the vast majority of our links fall into that category.

I am on this thread basically because I read most threads that catch my attention. Is that ok?

Content? Yes, we create it and create it in house (although we do want other writers to contribute and offer them incentives PLUS a free anchor text link in all their article posts). Not that much content really. Only 50-75,000 words a week between our blogs and main sites.

Proof? According to SEO Digger we show 1138 different rankings in Google JUST FOR OUR INDEX PAGE. Of course if you are a member you can do a full search and see that we have 5641 search terms listed in Google with 134 #1 Rankings. Oh, by the way, these are for terms dealing with Poker, Las Vegas and Gambling. But maybe those niches don't have any competition.

Do I purchase links? Well, to be honest yes. I have in the past where we only had an anchor text. We have stopped any new ones and are letting deals in place die out. I DO buy banner ads on sites as I said in my earlier post. With those banners I am able to direct people to the right page in my site to convert them. ADVERTSING does work.

The point I was trying to make is simply this:

IMHO, if you build your site with good content you will obtain links on the merit of your site. We have very few links to our site in relationship to our competition who have participated in wholesale link purchase for the most part. Most importantly, you will obtain SERP by having well designed onsite SEO combined with content and you will build links from Digg, del.icio.us, Stumble and the other social bookmark sites plus many blogs.

If you want to delve into our site, please do. Buy something while you are there! :) Also, take note of all the RSS feeds we offer. U think we might get some links from that?

    Peace

Yes... maybe they tried to drone up traffic by sending an email out. Who knows.

    Thanks for a polite reply.

When the update happens, my site will jump from PR0 to PR-medium. Does anyone know what is the range for "medium"? Is it from 4 to 6?

I don't know who told you "medium", but:

    - There is no way to know what you're upcoming Page Rank will be. Prediction tools are faulty at best.

    - If a tool told you medium, it's a made up term. You'd have to ask the author of the word in this context what they meant by medium. There is no definitive range.

Look people it won't be the end of the world if Google stops the Toolbar PR updates. It might be considered as a act against PR stimulation's with well know techniques. Still that won't stop us since from pr we'll just start counting the links and stuff like that which is still a good measure of website quality. :(

I just hope they do update it because this will mean more link sales but if they don't it will be a groundbreaking event that will "I guess" decrease the link buying for a while until we figure out another standard measure of page strengths (upss I did say it)

    Cheers and stop crying!

It makes sense though - to be the longest because the amount of sites and pages grow exponentially that it has to rank... millions of new pages are created daily... all fighting for that big beautiful PR in the sky ;)

Hey sorry I could not buy anything --as I am not a gambler:(

But I could get your backlinks--yes--

    domain popularity http://www.wedoitallvegas.com PR 4 ( [Google PageRankâ„¢ 4] )
    Backlinks: 35805 (140 Domains » 128 different IPs)
    PageRanks: 22xPR0 8xPR1 7xPR2 22xPR3 14xPR4 4xPR5
LinkStrength: 4.41 [A score calculated based on all PageRanks that link to http://www.wedoitallvegas.com.]

You might be getting SERPs for indiscriminate words --which is no big deal. What is important is --the Anchor Words --you tried to optimize--your SERPs is moderate to say the least.:(

So your boosting of SERPs is unfounded. Because it is the Anchor words you want to rank for --not indiscriminate words on the contents --which anyone an get--

    Here you go--

    Keyword: Online Poker
    URL : www.wedoitallvegas.com
    Position 189

Keyword: Las Vegas (This is your main focus)
    URL : www.wedoitallvegas.com
    Position 76

    Keyword: Las Vegas Coupons
    URL : www.wedoitallvegas.com
    Position 18

One would have imagined --ranking would been high with over 35K backlinks.
But unfortunately almost 75% of your links are NO-FOLLOW.:(

With the contents you have --you can really rule--if you know the link-building process.
