Google's 2007-Q3/Q4 PageRank (PR) Update

I already took a holiday for two weeks and was hoping to come back and see the PR update was finished but it seems I didn't miss much.

 

Has the pagerank update happened yet or what?

I haven't being paying attention, but with 245 pages of posts something definetely should have happened

 

How do you explain this:

I was a PR3 since the last PR Update. 3 weeks ago I changed to a PR4 on all DCs. Now, this was 3 weeks ago!
Did anybody change also? I cannot possibly think I was the only one.

me too, got email for all the 3 domains i submitted, but still shows the same rank, not even orange on on digpagerank..

I just stopped by to see what could create 245 pages of replies. Let's see if I got this right.

There are a gazillion webmasters , waiting and hoping for something that is meaningless? Get real dudes. Get some traffic and quit watching where your PR is.

Did anyone actually read all the 245 pages???

 

- traffic comes from Google
- to get much traffic from Google you need to be positioned well in Google SERPs
- to be positioned well in Google SERPs you need "good" links
- the only valid factor for a link being "good" webmasters know of for sure is the PR of the page with a link

=> PR is relevant to get traffic

 

Yea PR counts when selling and exchanging links

 

As far as i remember PR update always happen on the last week of the month.
So there are still 2 remaining possibilities to wrap up this year's update...

Q3 PR Update - Last week of August
Q4 PR Update - Last week of November
or
Q3 PR Update - Last week of September
Q4 PR Update - Last week of December
