Google's 2007-Q3/Q4 PageRank (PR) Update

Seems PR update is under way and it will start anytime.

 

Quick question. I've been working heavily on link development and have just had a few high PR links added in the last day or two, are these links likely to be taken into account with the PR update?

No change for my 9 sites

 

I figured that would be the case! Ah to be a fly on those walls!

 

I have seen my sites PR has been updated from PR2 to PR7 in dream

 

No chances at my sites either, but they've been launched after the last update, so it's kinda normal for them not to get PR.

 

That makes some sense to me but the BIG question is, how you concluded that the Snapshot date is 19th July ??

Any proof (example) ?

 

I suggest you go back to sleep then, its better than facing reality!

 

PR update hasn't begun for me yet, so i'm still waiting.

Google should start a premium rate hotline for people wanting to know when the PR update will be, they'd make a fortune. They could donate the proceeds to families caring for sufferers of Post Page Rank Stress Disorder.

 

i believe they think this type of thing is funny. the least they could do is set a schedule and make it public... Its not that important but once your waiting your waiting. Better just to let people know, than to have people posting about rabid killer bunnies from outer space and kidnapped Google page rank engineers

Seems it is around July 3rd, I thought I read a post where someone mentioned a dated page from July 19th that went white, but I cannot find it...

the snaphot must have been taken after 30 of july since if you check backlinks in webmasters tools they are backlinks added on 28,29,30 of July if was taken before that date then the export will be innacurate

 

After some of the things that i have been reading about how Google is going to attack paid links in this update, I am a bit worried!!

What will everybody do if the paid link industry is ruined by Google??

 

I always thought Google was constantly changing the BLs in webmaster tools and that it is independent of the PR toolbar exports.

 

Okay ... so regardless of the exact date of the snapshot .. what we ARE saying is the export normally happens betwen 15-30 days afer the snapshot ... so basically the export should happen before the end of August?

 

Consider it imposible because google will ruin itself sinced there millions of advertisers that use googe to advertise link sale
What google consider paid links are links farms such as Million Pixel Scrips or wordclouds etc.

If the theory with the snapshot its true then the update can take place anywhere between 20-30 of August

 

it should have already happened. we are waiting for unknown reasons. it is supposed to be semi quarterly which would have been the end of july / early august.
