Heh, wasn't me, if that's what you're thinking. Had a few ppl green rep me for what I said to you, maybe it was one of them.

That's a load of crap, please don't post stuff like that.

That is correct, supp pages do not get PageRank, although next update thatmay change with the supp changes they made. I doubt it though, the supp index is huge, and it would greatly slow down their ranking calculations to take it into consideration.

That's the first time I've heard of this; Google starts updating the lower PR sites first and works it's way up?

    Who can confirm this?

Nobody can confirm it, because it's not true. It's not the way it works.

It's a recursive function, it has to be done all at once.

Remember ppl, the PageRank has already been calculated... what they are doing is grabbing it from a specific date and exporting it out.

Excellent point. Do you think that it is possible that Google is "testing the waters" with a sample of webmasters for their decision to devaluate paid links? Exporting the new values to a few sites and seeing how much feedback they get. I've never have seen a toolbar export take this long.

no changes yet, although some sites show weird pr-behaviour (inconsistent, different between toolbar and google resuts page. May be a sign of ongoing update

I think a big part of it is that G's algo glitches many times, and that they have to make sure they aren't giving out fake PR10's to some crappy spam sites as well.

Anyone else remember the glitch a while back where they had to re-export just to fix it?

I saw on this and other forums some people got PR changes, but most not. I don't see any change on my site.

I think it is possible that G is adjusting a filter of some kind that they put on the previous PR update not this one. I say this because the changes seem so minor for sites that were expecting much larger changes. Plus not everyone sees changes yet, meaning G had not applied this filter to those sites so there are no changes to be seen now that G is lifting or changing the filter.

So if G is testing something on their previous update (Q2) not the one that is due (or overdue) now it would explain why some sites that were gray barred now received PR1's and PR2's. This happened to my site that I am expecting to go to PR5 with interior PR4 pages if it were the Q3 update.

Mine changed from N/A to 0 too and I have many backlinks. Google must've increased my rankings though since I'm getting much more traffic from google SE.
