There were some PR update threads two days back, but i do not see them here anymore.

I didn't see anything happening with most of my websites. I guess there was a bit of shift in some DC, but the actual update did not happen at all.

Please confirm, if your sites updated or not ?

I checked on various tools for multiple Data Centre Checks for Page Rank.

Google tries to be webmaster friendly by offering us many tools. Why do not they make some official statement on their Blog that there is some update going on, so that the webmasters are not confused. I hope some Google Rep will see this thread and will give this suggestion to their Seniors.

If you are voting that your site PR changed, please note that we are asking about real PR changes and not just a small time change on some DC. Even i checked on site of SEOcompany that there is a different time for Toolbar PR update, but i guess toolbar takes PR values from the DC which is close to your area. (not sure about this though)

    just as a FYI:

All my subpages have just become Pr1's
These where all PR0's except a few last week.

expecting a pr3 for my site, but that has yet to change

Thanks for that clarification. What about the disappearance of the Supplemental Results tag and the paid link penalties? What could be the holdup on the export? Problems @ Google?

It updated for some while not for many. The process has been started 1-2 weeks ago but is going very slow. No one can say if the actual process started or not. Haven't really seen any results here.

Well, it's the same for me

A week before I found an increase in my backlinks in most of the Google DC's

Some of my sites changed from N/A to PR0, most of them getting links from PR 3 pages

Still PR 0. I had thought of atleast PR 2 for my websites. Hope this is not the final result

My main site went from PR3 to PR5. I don't see any changes for other my sites.

I just hope they get it right this time, last PR update was a mess and they completely screwed up alot of values on a number of my sites.

i choose the 3rd option, since only one of my site PR updated, while the rest no change at all.

um, what is a paid link penalty? You mean that their value is discounted or nullified?

The value of paid-for links are soon to be nullified for SERPs. Maybe the same will be happening for calculating PR. One must assume the Google has begun applying filters to determine which links are paid link.

yeah. if google finds a webmaster buying links, the power that those links give is cancelled out

We may be seeing the first evidence of paid link penalties, but we can't be sure yet ... interesting to see how this unfolds.

Yes, maybe they are testing those filters on a small scale already to prepare them for the onslaught of webmaster's complaints on Google Groups;)
