    Also more DC's have been updated and now my directory has gone from orange to green on dig....whats going on mr google :)

    I am also seeing some fast / rapid changes in almost all DCs.. few minutes back they showing N/A, now they have started showing old PR.. :):D

    A little of topic but is it possible that Google isn't deepcrawling new sites anymore these days?

    I got 2 new sites live since 3 weeks ago and they are indexed in G but still not receiving any traffic after all that time.

    Usually it takes me less than 3 days to get the first visitors from G. after a deepcrawl.

    Can anyone tell me if this is normal?

    This is a bit of a weird update, some of my new sites are showing new backlinks but some of my older sites (that just got their first page rank last udpate) are showing zero backlinks. One of my directories has recieved page rank on a few top categories but that is about it for my 50 or so sites.

    Would it be smart if Google stopped showing us the PR?
    They could keep using the PR, but without showing it to everyone.
    It would destroy most of the link market, don't you think?

    But of course Google would be hated by a lot, including me..
    That's the only downside I can see

    Its one of the greatest marketing ploys ever devised. Webmasters spend alot of time worrying about PR, and thus, catering to Google instead of Yahoo.

    Out of my 20 sites, pr of 3 sites changed (all in negative direction), I am expecting changes (positive) in many more sites. Either it is minor update or update in progress.

    Not only that, people would suddenly find the Google Toolbar useless and the amount of data they extract from that alone makes Pagerank worthwhile to them.

    Maybe this may shed some light as to what G has been up to. I presently am webmaster of about 11 websites that all enjoy some pagerank (ranging from 1-4) and none of my sites have ever returned results for the related: operator until tonight. Now they all have related sites results.:confused:

    I see changes now also. In the morning when I checked my PR7 directory, there was no change. Digpagerank was showing suspicious PR (orange) as the domain itself has no info on Google with www, it was all fine and valid without www though. Now again I checked, and PR7 is now valid also with www just as it should be. Do you guys think this means my directory's pagerank has been updated and is likely to remain as PR7?

    Can the PR of a site change more than once during the same update? For example, can it go from PR2 to PR0 to PR3, all during the same update period?
