We are at 96 days now from last PR update on April 30. Longest time between PR updates seems to be 122 days according to this chart:
    http://www.seocompany.ca/pagerank/page-rank-update-list.html
So...oooooh.... we should be very close now.... HOPEFULLY... Let's hope they push the button tonight... :D

this is getting annoying. It seems like google doesn't update PR much anymore. They may discontinue PR all together one day.

Yea, I agree with all the folks who have said it. Until the backlink update is uniform, I don't think the full PR update will move out. I wonder if they are running into some issues, it seems like a lot less DC IPs are responding than normal. Could just be me...

Why even bother with page rank unless (1) anyone sells links [bad with G] or has a web directory and sells submissions or (2) exchanges links which is faux pas.

How many times.... heard of the co-op? Why even bother posting? If you aren't concerned with PR, then don't worry about it. =) (Nice first post btw, I smell troll.)

    Keeping the speculation alive...

    (From: http://tech-king.blogspot.com/2007/08/google-pagerank-update-august-2007.html)
"This interesting post by Garett Rogers at ZDNet talks about the possibility of the a link between the forthcoming Google PageRank update (slated for late July but is imminent now in August 2007) and the outage that many Google Analytics users reported late last week.

He refers to a comment at seoroundtable.com that triggered this thought

When I was reading some of the commentary on this latest problem, I came accross this comment on seroundtable.com:

I would almost swear this happened last time right before they had the last PR update. I think they use that data in the algorithm if a webmaster has it. Either that or they defer the resources used to power it.

What does this mean to us lesser mortals waiting for the latest PageRank update?

Well, it seems like the update is almost upon us and will be very visible across Google's various datacenters in form of fluctuating PageRank of people's websites before the next week is up!

Three cheers to the Google PR update as it enables many of us to rate our own efforts at making our website really count amongst the deluge of millions others in our category!"

Enlighten me on the co-op; never heard this. On the troll part, classy, nddb. Oh and nice welcome.

Now, let me tell you dude, I am not worried about it. Read the post again.

And, I smell ignorance. Furthermore, I have not been here before today. Verify it with admin.

There are a plethora of info on the web about such redundant info. Try using the search engines for research.

Next state your "credible" credentials and I will state mine.

    Bye

I just find it odd that you come into a thread on your first post and tell us that we shouldn't bother with PR, and that we can't be using it for any decent purpose. You're the one dishing out "enlightenment," not me.

I think that is how a troll behaves. If you don't care about PR, or if it means nothing to you, then why bother posting on the thread at all? Why did you join a forum, go to a PR thread, just to tell everyone PR doesn't matter? It obviously matters for various reasons to some.

Why don't you just not worry about it? Go post about something you are interested in and stopping telling DP members what to do on your first post ... run along now...

Some people care bout PR and some don't.. Its as simple as that.. Respect should be given to everyone out there regardless of what their personal preference is.. Again, its as simple as that..

    Cheers!
