google updating now I am seeing change in my websites and other websites.

Is there a rule about people who post just for itrade points or green rep? Seems like DP is pretty liberal on posts like this one.

how do you tell if google is updating?

 

Watch for every other thread started about PageRank updating. Then again they start those just about every other day, no matter if it's true or not. I come for the entertainment, like watching a train wreck.

Use a multi-data center tool to see the differences for a site on different datacenters, during an update it they are off.

Hi all,

I have a site that was getting first page results on Google for my main key phrase a few days ago and is now back (where it had been for sometime now) to pages 26-27 in the listings. I was happy when it started showing up on the first page as right away my traffic went up and orders for my store starting coming in. Has anyone had this happen in such a short amount of time?

Is it possible that they are doing an update and I will be on the first page, or was that just part of them jumping some things around and I will stay way back there?

Any input welcome.

google results change every minute of every day....keep doing optimization.

drastic changes, none I can think of.

I hate trying to figure Google out, what they like and what they don't, how can you go one week on page #1 and the next be on page #26.

I am not sure when the last time I tweaked the sites kewords and descriptions, but Google I hear pays those no attention right?

 

It's very normal to search engine. And maybe you're getting that results from different datacenter.

 

I don't have any specific advice for you but to tell you to continue building links...people experience dramatic jumps and falls all the time.....remember the internet is a web....you rankings can be lowered because of things out of your control....sites linking to yours got a penalty or blacklisted or sites linking to the sites linking to yours.....its pretty confusing but that's what makes it fun for me...

One more question, that site is a PR-6, what is the best way for me to get backlinks that will help in the search results?

 

google search result are changing day by day. for some keywords , i can good results. i check the same keyword after one day, my site is being dropped from that keyword

 

i lost my first page rankings for one month, a month later i got them back again to page 2, currently working on it to get back to page one again
