Google changes its algorithm on a regular basis, but most changes are so subtle that few notice. This is different. Google says that the effects change over 12% (11.8% are non-rounded figures) of its search results in the U.S., a far greater impact on results than most of its algorithm changes. The change affects only the performance of the United States. It can be deployed globally in the future.

While Google has become action intense pressure last month to the content companies, the company told me that this change ....

It is amazing not so many people are talking about the new algorithm here. My site was affected seriously.

we just have to keep in mind that Google wants its users to have the best internet experience so they are always changing its algo. Many are affected so we need to adjust.

Google is certainly not the only search engine on earth. But what it does, others normally follow.
Google has only one basic rule; provide your readers with valuable information.

Old news. You should use the search function here in DP more often.

I have not been affected too badly but when I look at my competitors websites nothing ever changes, no new content and after the algo update they took over the pole position and I've dropped to second even though I regulary update conect and add news articles and such it's odd!!

I have seen a slight improvement but have been working hard on content and link building as well as other on and off site SEO. My site was hit by the caffeine update 18 months ago from which I have never recovered. My sector (childrens clothes) used to be dominated by small independents and now all the big names list high up and can't be knocked of their top spot. They have very little on site SEO so must be relying mainly on back links.

hey even my site is way down. Some of my contents were copied. I've added unique contents all over the site. Do you think we'll get back to our normal rankings ?

This forum is truly a train wreck. I cannot look away. I have never seen a more self serving thread than this. What a bunch of link whores...

I'm officially done with this forum. Mods please ban me. I can no longer stand it.
