Whenever i search in google i always get redirected to google.co.uk search results so most of the sites are uk sites

i want to get the search results worldwide

im looking for link exchanged but the top 20 pages are all uk sites

ive tried clicking "the web" button but still no different

Click on the "Google.com" below of "I'm feeling lucky"... You will redirect it to Google.com.. If you are using Mozilla then go to settings right hand site on Mozilla & then go to Options & then Google Search Box Settings.. & Then See Use Google Site & then Select (.com USA)...;)

    Thanks!

If you search "The Web" from another country you still do not get the same results as someone searching from the US. To get around it, search your term using "The Web" then add the following to the end of Google's URL.

    &gl=us

This will force the US results to display. If you don't want to mess around with this, there's a Firefox plugin by RedflyMarketing called Google Global Firefox Extension which will show the results like you were actually in the country instead of adding &gl=us or &gl=uk etc to the URL's. Failing all that, you can also go through a proxy based in the country of the area/results you are trying to check.
