Hi, I've been seeing this sponsored ad in my gmail lately. Out of curiosity, I visited the page, only to be taken to an affiliate page selling an ebook, talking about how to make money from adsense. Anyone have experience with this ebook? Is it realistic? Could it work? Is it a scam? Thanks in advance, AddValue138
If this is what I think you're talking about, a.k.a "the google money" it's highly promoted even in Indian newspapers, don't buy it. Common sense & some reading will get you "in the loop". JMO
It's about AdWords, not AdSense. But it's way too basic. Pretty useless now unless you're an EXTREME novice.
Thanks for the feedback. I wish that Google would stop displaying such ads in gmail if they're no longer relevant; I've noticed a lot of sponsored links for these sort of products. LL&P, AddValue138
Well someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe those ads (just like AdSense) are triggered by the content in your e-mails. I always find it funny to see ads for Spam Recipes in my Spam folder
Ccano, you're right -- the keyword matching isn't so good yet. I find that just talking generally about google (not even adsense or adwords) in emails triggers these sort of ads. Cheers, AddValue138
all these google books are the same. Its either create an adowrds account and signup for affiliate programs or create an adsense site and a blog.
IMO, books like these just cover the tips and tricks you can easily get at a forum like DP. No need to waste your money on them.
Just read DP, don't waste your money. DP is like a continually updating ebook...a FREE ebook at that!
It's not necessarily a scam more so it is there for newbies who are completely new to adsense. They can read that to get a head start, but still its better and easier to just read forums like these to have a better understanding and read the stuff google adsense has up on there site about it.
