Googlebot wanted to chat with me?

    This is a funny old thing. I use Cerulean Trillian to manage my instant my instant messages and when I came in this morning I had this message up. Out of curiosity I checked who 66.249.66.228 belongs to and it's Google. Checks online show that the user agent was probably "Googlebot-Image/1.0" and maybe it tried to index an ICQ-flower-user-online image but surely ICQ systems are geared up for bot visits?

    If they really wanted me surely they'd have called me SarahK?

    Anyone else had this?

    No, I can't say I've ever had IMs addressed to either King OR Sarahk...

    Do you think I should change my username? Would that give me any significant SEO value?

    Hehe. I also use Trillian (very useful program), but haven't had any visits from Google that I know of...

    Yikes, the poor Googlebot probably just wanted to say hello... and you've all masterminded a behind the scenes plot to talk dirty and take advantage of the innocent g-bot.
