I have problem when my Search engine traffic from google cut-off at Jun. Todat I login to my webalizer stats account and see the decrees visit by Googlebot. here the stats.. July 29357 2.77% Jun 99957 10.48% May 182565 25.29% How to increase my googlebot visit? any Idea...? right now I spend a lot money on ads then before.. and trust me its hell seeing your throw your hard work money to blog ads, and I mostly giveup on blog ads. Adword work preety well, but its really expensive. any suggestions?
I think Steve is right. I own two sites ...one on my main url and a blog that runs as a sub domain of the main url. The blog gets more google bot visits because it is updated more frequently compared to my main URL.
Absolutely. Update your site with some fresh unique content and the make it a habit. Google will more frequently crawl your site. As far as Adwords is concerned i know its expensive but if managed properly it proves fruitful. You can try optimize your campaign and bring down the CPC by using various techniques. All that matters is the ROI.
just because googlebot comes alot doesn't mean your site will rank higher though, sometimes googlebot just burns up your bandwidth for you which sucks
I agree with you! Other member opinions are funny! Googlebot do not have any relation with your SERP , however every spammer can call bot, Googlebot and visit your website, i think you are lucky that you get less visits from Googlebot
agree with you all about googlebot and bandwith.. but I dont have problem with that, anyone know how to set googlebot crawl in google webmaster. I want to set it faster...
there is no "setting" to make googlebot faster, only ways to make it slower or not come at all frequent updates to your site tends to bring googlebot around more often
