    Hi European Union,

    Most experts say submitting your site dosen't make a difference. Try to do a search for robots metatag in Google. Adding it may get your site indexed faster. I don't see any harm in adding it although most SEO professionals say it dosen't matter.

    Also, if you build quality backlinks wide and deep, Google will pick up your site very fast, sometimes in 24 hours or less.

    Hope that helps.

    Hello Fabian.JH,

    Tnx for the info. But I am not conversant with "robots metatag" - so can you plz give what code exactly I have to add to my 1-page site ?

    How can I "build quality backlinks wide and deep" for free ? How many hours of work I have to put in for minimum (or a safe number of hours) hours to have to Googlebot in my site in 24 hours ? [Plz give details of what I have to do.]

    Tnx in advance.

    Hi European Union,

    Here's the code:

    <meta http-equiv="Revisit-After" content="14 days">
    <META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="INDEX,FOLLOW">

    Just add it in under your Title in your html editor and you're good to go.

    A secret I don't normally reveal in getting your site indexed real quick is this:

    Just post a story at Digg.com, make the title the keyword you are targeting for, then post up your story with your URL. It dosen't take more than 5 minutes to do. This should get your site indexed in 24 hours.

    Hope that helps.

    Hello Fabian.JH,

    Tnx for the code and the cool tip.

    Green rep is on the way.

    1. As per your tip, if I post a story on a page in my website and that in Digg, it gets indexed by Google in 24 hours. Does it mean one backlink for my domain name ? If so, I can make a couple of posts on different URLs in my domain in Digg, to have many backlinks ? Will these be counted as many backlinks for my domain name ?

    2. Say, below is the code of my 1-page website :

    <html>

    <head>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Language" content="en-us">
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=windows-1252">
    <meta name="GENERATOR" content="Microsoft FrontPage 4.0">
    <meta name="ProgId" content="FrontPage.Editor.Document">
    <title>New Page 1</title>
    </head>

    <body>

    <p>This is my 1-page website.</p>

    </body>

    </html>
    Code (markup):
    What would be the code after I add your above code. I am just a beginner. I use FrontPage and don't know what you mean by "Just add it in under your Title in your html editor".

    Plz add your code to the code of my 1-page website and post it here.

    Tnx in advance.

    Hi European Union,

    Thanks for the rep.

    Yes it would be counted as a few backlinks, but they would have to be to different pages on your site since Digg does not allow posting the exact same url for another story.

    As for the code just place it right below here:

    <title>New Page 1</title>

    So it would look like this...

    <title>New Page 1</title>
    <meta http-equiv="Revisit-After" content="14 days">
    <META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="INDEX,FOLLOW">
