Googlebot only index my sitemap.xml and robot.txt file...

    Hi, I recently uploaded sitemap.xml file...and I checked log and found out that googlebot only index my sitemap.xml.....

    They don't visit anyother pages....

    is this normal???

    and I still can't see my site using site: command...

    Does google update indexed page everyday??or all at once??

    really depends on the number of backlinks you have. I have seen a delay of a few weeks on some low exposure sites.

    I'm seeing 14,900 backlink using yahoo's link: command....

    It's been a month...and they still not indexing my pages...!!!!

    Does history of domain can cause this??? I have problem with 2 sites and they both have history...... All other domains w/o history got indexed within few days or weeks...

    Does history of domain has nothing to do with this???

    I checked who is linking to my domain and I found out this domain has history and was a porn site before.....

    If that's something blocking from getting indexed...How can I appeal?? Just contact google??? Do they ever answer?

    For me, personally, I want Google to index all my property listings (sitemap.xml is indexed differently as mentioned so as far as I can see forget sitemap.html - leave it there for the occasional visitor who ever uses a sitemap page) and my main areas of content I want to be displayed in search results on Google.
