    Has anybody used this:-

    <META NAME="googlebot" CONTENT="nosnippet">

    in their meta tags?

    If so, does it work as it's supposed to? And is it effective?

    Thanks in advance for any advice you might have.

    If you want to prevent Google from displaying snippets for your pages, use the following tag.

    As usual there seems to be misleading and even contradictory information. I realise things change and what is true one month might not be the next, but the only way to clear this up methinks is to run a test and find out.

    Yea, I am looking to test that out as well. Most information I found states that it will no longer work, but Ill give it a shot
