googlebot is picking up the & symbol

i keep getting warnings in the webmaster tools telling me that googlebot can not follow addresses that end up in the address bar like this:


www.******.com/US/CO/Denver/Tax+Return+Preparation+&+Filing/Colonial+Tax+Consultants+Inc/

i dont understand how googlebot is picking up the ampersand as it is coded on the page as %26 and not the &.

has anyone else seen this or can tell me how to fix this problem.

I dont know how much this will help, but you could always go down the Apache mod-rewrite route?
