Googlebot hit my site 23 times

    The other day, googlebot decided to hit my site 23 times. I looked more into it and realized that it crawled my site. Is this normal that all of a sudden one day it did this? It's not doing it anymore.

    I think Shawn has stated that there have been 23(+) Googlebot's crawling this forum at the same time

    I've had 23+ hit my site all at once at one point. I don't see that too often anymore, though. But they do come daily, on top of the addition of the media bot.

    Man, I dunno what I'd do if Google only hit me 23 times at once... :p

    My record so far is 238 GoogleBot's on my site at once. And this month alone here are my GoogleBot stats:

    102850 hits using 2.86 GB of bandwidth.

    I'd have to say that 23 at a time isn't all abnormal. ;)

    googlebot counts 1.5-3.5% of total hits on my sites.

    Hmmm....For me.....

    Google bot visits twice a day today just my robot's file and then robots + index

    Naverbot as per above

    Faxobot, took about 8 pages of my small site
