Googlebot crawling my site - but has stopped indexing?

This seems to be a poor week for me and my site with Google. After finding that all my content was going Supplemental within a week of being indexed, I decided to change the wordpress theme I am using. I now have one that uses far less code and duplication etc. When I view the site source, the content is now actually near the top rather than at the bottom where it used to be.

So all should be good. However I have noticed that my most recent content is not being indexed by google. The Googlebot crawls my site roughly every hour each time creating approx 10 hits.

All my new content used to be indexed within 1 day - or 2 at the most. Now I am finding that I have stuff going back close to 2 weeks that hasn't been indexed.

Is there anyway I can find out what is going on with this?

How old is your site? If it's a new website you have to be patient, you're site will go up and down for a while.

I see that you have this on the top of all your pages:

The toughts

Journey into the realms of consciousness and thoughts.

I had the same thing on one of my sites, I changed the text to a text image on all of my internal pages and kept the text on the homepage only

The site is about 4 years old - and the domain still has a few years left on it. Up until about a week ago everything I wrote was indexed within 24 - 48 hours. Now that seems to have stopped.

I will take a look at that text on the top of all my pages and replace it with an image or something. As you say - it's probably a bit too repetitive.

Any other thoughts on why google as stopped indexing me?

Thanks. It was because I installed Wordpress into the directory called "thoughts", thus everything uses that URL.

Next time I will install it into the root directory...
