Googlebot and Gzip compression

Hi all

Is it true that if you use Gzip compression on your pages, googlebot and other SE bots cant index your site very well ?

where did u find that information from anyways.. how is dat gonna help in crawling?

 

Actually in php linkdirectory, they dont recommend using Gzip compression.

But i would really like to use it on another site, but not if SE bots have problems indexing.

I wanna use it because it makes the site load faster.

 

i think it's not related google index speed . it's only related your traffic
