GoogleBot and Google adsense

    I saw in my log that googlbot and google adsense visited my site. Googlbot is for indexing. What the google adsense for?:confused: :confused:

    That's an interesting question. I took a look at my logs and didn't find any AdSense bots. Perhaps, you confuse it with something else.

    By adsense do you mean the "Mediapartner"? That's the bot that crawls your page to see which ads are most relevant and generate the ad units.

    I know what he means...I think that bot checks to make sure your content is there and also sees if you are violating the TOS....not 100% sure though

    Can you clarify what it actually is visiting your site; that is, the actual user-agent your stats display for it?
