google_font / google_font_size in Adsense code

I have seen these lines added to Adsense code at EzineArticles.com like so:

google_font = "Verdana";
google_font_size = "10pt";

Can you change the font size for google ads?

 

Dunno, I doubt it but it puzzles me as to why the code is there. The actual ads seemed to be still using Arial as their font so it didn't work.

You can change the font-size and other design elements if you qualify for the Adsense Premium Service (5 million search queries or 20 million content page views a month). Ahh a man can dream

Only for englishspeaking Countrys (o. other) in Germany, Francia, Italy? and Spain and others... you must have 10 million not 20 million page views for a premium account. But it is also toooo much

I am a premium publisher with less than 20 million views a month,just email google and ask them.
