    I wouldn't be surprised. Not sure how it is in US but in UK when you type in any "car insurance" keyword or alike, you get "Sponsored" listing where they have this page where people can compare insurance. So basically, other organic listings go below it. Keywords kinda ... lose their value lol.

    They might do it with other big keywords. Well, hopefully they won't start selling weight loss info-products lol.

    There is more than one way for people to find your site rather than by your site ranking in Google. There are plenty of blogs and websites that I frequent that I never went and searched Google for. I was maybe reading a blog and there was a guest post. Maybe I was on youtube and found someone's channel and there was a link to their website. Saw someone's forum signature, etc.
