Google, yahoo, MSN ranking system

I'm very confused about this. Can you give me some ideas regarding their ranking systems of a site in their search results?

This is very difficult to explain, exact answer only they knows bcz all of them following their on algorithem to rank a site. Among them google is the best and simple

 

once if u get well in google.

It will be effect in yahoo,msn.

Try to optimize the general ideas.

MSN search is horrible!

 

If you need some real traffic you have to aim for google. Most of the seo advice you will see here is based on google seo. In normal case, if you do seo for google you should be able to rank well in yahoo as well.
MSN is totally different. It is really easy to get ranked on MSN. But traffic will be low compared to Google.

 

Every search engines have their own algorithms. And these algorithms are changing every now and then. Based on my experience, it is much easier to rank in the big G compare to other search engines. Gathering of massive links is one of the best way to rank high.

 

I had an opposite experience and found MSN Live to be the easiest, Google next then Yahoo the hardest. It probably just depends on where your SEO efforts are such as content, tags, on page/off page factors. Everyone is a little bit different in their SEO techniques.

 

All three major search engines change their algorithm for ranking sites frequently. So no one will able to give you some specific factors. But for ranking well in SE you can read guide lines provided by SE itself.

 

There is alot of stuff on google. essentially it will grade you on several factors, on page and off page, and based on that grade and your keywords it will rank you. Read what was recommended it will help alot.

I dont know of anyone that knows the exact google algo. However out of experience people speculate. And many times they are right. Plenty of literature on algo and whats important in it. As far as PR there is a way to calculating it from the sites linking to you. Concentrate on important factors for top rankings and you will be fine.

Same here Msn was always easy, google was next, yahoo was very uncool.

 

try to focus more on google and if you reach your objectives in google, yahoo and msn will follows.

yes i think so msn search is very bad

 

for google back links is more important but on other hand yahoo likes various other factors like on page optimization factors as google like back links and also the speed at which back links are genrated so if buy 1000 back links in a day then you will definatly banned by google.on other hand msn does not notice the speed at which back links are created just number and quality of back links. But msn will not deliver gud traffic.
