Hi Just an appreciation note for Digital Point Forums and members for the outstanding service offered to all member. The combination of tools, script, free and paid services offered by members jump this forum as specially unique. (just excuse my English, not my primary language) I have been in this forum just a few moths back mostly searching members posts and requesting members information on posted services. This was what I did and the url is in the signature: 1. Free URL created in 12/25/07 from this forum direction (and is a redirect) 2. Upload PHP a free directory script to my server in the free url 3. Post new Directory in Directory Critics (found in DP forum as source) 4. Used forum member manual back links service (less than $10) 5. Used forum member service for manual social bookmarks (less than $10) 6. Used the new url in DPF signature.(no, not in other forums) 7. Posted a link pointing this url in a few of my blogs. I know this is for today and things change day by day, but what an outstanding results. As “global directory links†from last week its NUMBER 1 in Google from 7.260 MILLION, top ten in Yahoo (Num 3) and MSN as global directory also in top ten. Almost 2k unique visitors in January with 3.5k number of visit and as of now 2/16/08 in this moth 804 uniques and 1746 visits. Considering this a test, with only weeks from starting point and the GLOBAL competition of those words, I understand that I selected the pieces but you made the job. It's not only how much is done, but the quality of a job well done. I learned the value of the process before, mostly in JP forum and membership (I think he is also member here) but to do it by myself or paying out there for the service was too much for me. I found it everything here and at affordable prices. I need to post a feedback for the services received from the forum members (I hate to say this, but don’t know where or how). Hello team As an update after two months from original posting, we are still in top ten in google but now with 9.3 million results and number 1 in MSN with 28.4 m search resuts. Yahoo not in top ten. Traffic still coming and done nothing more of ads, ppc or linkings. God Bless
Hi surf4fun Really I wanted to test a simple combination of resources to reach an specific goals, as better ranking for domains as well as traffic. As already posted, the out of pocket cost was very low and the domain (redirect) and scripts were for free with the help of this forum partners. I will be doing the same with a few other domains for higher traffic and value. As of today, no monetary target with the global directory domain. My accounting job and tax season leave me no much time to build up something for it. I could accept some suggestion. Thanks and God Bless
Hi Team Amazing great news, the global directory is now PR2. From creation of the URL in 12/25/07 untill today 5/1/08 (4.5 months) and from cero (0) to PR2 thanks to DP Forum and Partners. And in some inner pages too. I thought that as a redirect it will not be ranked by Google. I'm not experienced with that matters. But I just needed to share the news with you.
