Google won't remove the cached page!

    I'v been waiting now for a couple of weeks for this and i'm yet to see google remove the now deleted landing page for the site. I'v been submitting links to 'mysite.co.uk' as a pose to 'mysite.co.uk/index.html'. Will google notice it's gone and get rid of it?

    if you sign up for google webmaster tools and validate your site...they have a url removal tool there
