Google Withholding 30% ?

    Not sure what this means, but on my payment history it shows that google is withholding about 30% of my Feb earnings!!

    What is going on here??

    The withholding is for income tax.

    Now I've only ever registered as a corporation, but did you accidentally check something like you are under withholding requirements?

    If so, then you will receive paperwork at the end of the year, saying they submitted the X amount of with holdings to the IRS. Then you will use this for your tax settlements.

    IMHO of course, I've only registered as a corp.

    This only affects US publishers. Google can withhold 30% of your Adsense earning and remit that to the IRS. They will send you some kind of statement at the end of the year so you can do your taxes.

    Non US publishers get full payment without withholding after they sign the W9 form.
