I wonder how this will play out......there are a lot of "Made for Adsense" sites out there... http://seoclient.com/2007/05/23/google-wiping-out-ad-heavy-websites/
thanks for linking us to that ad-heavy mfa trash. do you think that google will nail it in this sweep?
ad-heavy?....not any more ad-heavy than some of the bigger ones...for ex.......http://www.wolf-howl.com/ u care to show us a site of yours that has no ads??
I don't think that is a pure FMA site. Have seen worse, where google is feeding them leads and they are showing nothing but adSense ads. google still kept that site. I posted the url couple of days back.
I think the article is quite confusing as in the first part it tells about MFA and in the second part it tells about Adsense Arbitrage The real news we all know is that Google is going to ban Arbitrage and I feel that is what explained in the article in a different way!
Holy crap, that is very ad heavy! No offense to you, what ever works. Of course we are more sensitive to it than maybe the average surfer, although I do believe they are not a s dumb as some think.
You ask how 6 ads plus adsense is adheavy? I think a site is too ad-heavy when the ads get in the way of the content, and that is the case on your site i must say.
This was a joke right? I wonder how long before you get banned from adsense. 5 link units and 3 referral buttons is clearly against TOS.
Yea, I totally have to agree with BlueDevilMedia. That is EXTREMELY ad heavy. I don't like having a seizure because of all the ads flashing at me before I even get to the content. And there are way too many referral buttons....Sorry dude, but couldn't even read the article because I was sooo turned off by the ads.... Edit: I just saw some of the changes you made and it looks better....
I quess the only MFA site left will be Google their search results are ad heavy and oh ya their content is scraped also.
According to Adsense TOS you're allowed 3 ad units per page, you have 4...Google will ban you for this.
About.com is extremely ad-heavy. Sometimes they only have a single paragraph on a page and load it lots of ads.
