Seems like google will be challenging facebook. heres the link. Very interesting http://findtut.com/google-looking-to-challenge-facebook-157158
Ever hear the expression Don't sh*t where you eat? Well, a lot of webmasters make a living with Google adsense, and can't afford having it banned because of something on a different segment of their google account. If they cover every facet of the internet world, and you slip up in one section, you can be outed from all the rest as a gmail ban of your account results in loss of all the other stuff, google docs especially, youtube, reader, etc.
Google challenging Facebook, I guess facebook has probably challenged google in some way. They say that when you throw a rock into a pack of dogs the one that gets hit is the one that hollers.
Google Mail X Facebook Mail Google + X Facebook Like I think the cold war is started long time ago. But it seems that no one got special success .
As retarded and off-topic as this dude's wording may seem, he's wise, or so I think All controlled by one entity. Of course we must not know this, hence all the "competition" we see on the surface.
Just want to ask? Which is the first in the web industry, Google or Facebook? I think Google is bigger than Facebook so no need to challenge...
It's hard to say right now. Google+ is an interesting inclusion in the social networking group, but I can't say it'll beat out facebook. Google has a track record of great services, Gmail, Google Chrome, etc. They also have Google Wave, which I absolutely hated. G+ seems like it can work, so we'll see. I'm liking it so far.
Facebook is goin to launch an email service and Google is launching a social network....is there a point? they'd better each stayed in its field and didnt make that mess... btw recently i've came across another social network something - myimpression.me...does anyone know anything about it?looks promising
Sure Google will challenge FB as they have a hugh number of Gmail users. They also include all features inside Google+, I believe they will defeat FB soon.
Google+ made it so easy to select who you want to share your posts with. Google realized that there was a weakness Facebook had with easy to use "share filtering" and they jumped all over it with G+ "circles." It will be interesting to see how Facebook reacts to the "circle" challenge. In the mean time, the majority of my real friends are on Facebook so I'll be spending most of my time on FB until the G+ bandwagon takes off.

All in all, Facebook has finally met a worthwhile challenger.
