Don't worry about that part. The code does NOT contain the instruction to Google to not cache your site (i.e., the no cache instruction for spiders is NOT turned on). Sorry to have confused you earlier. Just pay attention to this part:
To the original poster: Did your other sites that do get crawled have links from anywhere else but forum sigs? That would be the first thing I would improve. It seems like MSN and Yahoo will cache anything, but Google is more stringent. I don't know if 50 forum links is enough juice to get deep crawled. My experience has been if Googlebot hits your pages, but they show up as supplemental results, you need to work on more inbound links. (It could also be that you are being punished for posting the exact same message on 10+ forums. Half-joking on that, but you need a better link building strategy than this: http://beta.search.msn.com/results....Free+Arcade+with+tons+of+fun+games"&FORM=QBHP.)
Your right, I do spam my links on forums (never would I do that here, but I have spammed in about 300 forums the exact same message) but spamming links in forums is the only way I know how to get backlinks, this is my first profesional site I am involved in as I just turned 16, I started web design when I was 14 but I just started PHP and forums recently. Anyways, yes, I agree I need backlinks and I a breaking my balls try to get them I registered and spammed and 300 forums like I stated above and that's the only type of backlinks I know, I wish I knew another way, I am very patient and am willing to give all of my time to do this but if I don't know what to do I am sea captain without a compus. Please tell me the kinds of backlinks I should get. I thank you all very much you have all been very helpful.
Directories! Go through the Directories section of the DigitalPoint forum here and submit your site (minus the hyperbole of statements like "The Best yada yada") to as many free ones not requring reciprocal links as you can find. Then find other appropriate related sites about gaming and write to suggesting a reciprocal link arrangement, where you link to his site and he to yours. You could also consider starting a blog where you publish opinion pieces or news about gaming and link to that from your forum and vice versa.
