The point is, if a website gets visited often and has a good Alexa Traffic Rank and Google Pagerank, it appears more towards the top than an other website. What it takes to be #1? Be ahead of your opponents. Be better than the other websites out there that offer similar services.

Alexa Rank and Google PageRank are complementary.

Yeah, the design is good, but I wouldn't put testimonials at the very bottom. I'd place them smwhere on the right, in the separate small section

Well, it would be nice if your website was called Bodyboarding instead of 662 mob. Can you buy the domain "bodyboarding" or will that just mess up all your backlinks?

One small point - when you check your Google search results you must NOT be logged in, otherwise Google will show you results that it thinks you want as a searcher, and not someone trying to work out their rankingHave you checked in other search engines? I have a site that is top in Yahoo and Bing and is not even indexed in Google. I too find that Google puts sites at the top that are not optimised and don't have many backlinks - I just cant fathom it. i think the truth is that Google is not all it is cracked up to be and produces lousy search results. Hopefully people will find out and use a better search engine
