So i went trough www.google.com/robots.txt , and searched all the url's there. The weird pages, were : http://www.google.com/relpage/ http://www.google.com/cobrand Anyway, i found other interesting stuff too
What is even more interesting is typing in "Inactivated Cobranded Websearch" in the search field on http://www.google.com/cobrand and you get: http://www.google.com/cobrand?hl=en...q=Inactivated+Cobranded+Websearch&btnG=Search which appears to be a german version.
WOW! this one is really good, lets you search through the advertisers ads.. http://www.google.com/sponsoredlinks
That's cool.. and screwed up. I put in my domain "nddb" and another site comes up. Looks like they paid for that kw... that's not very nice. =) I might need to pull out some anchor text all over the place with THEIR domain name in it.
Great find man..but I think it's not showing all the ads for that phrase(may be the case of exact match)
mia, look who's bidding on your username http://www.google.com/sponsoredlinks?q=mia poseidon, yeah it seems so they only show two pages, I'm sure there should be more for some keywords, but still it's very useful to see what sites advertise for your keywords..if you know how to use it nddb, strange, I don't see any results here for your username http://www.google.com/sponsoredlinks?q=nddb may be it's geotargetted..
MG, that is interesting... http://www.hays.com/jobs/mia/ That is something I never really put too much energy into. I think I will make it a point to study some Islmaic Art. (jer went to college for Art/Art History). Qatar seems to have their heads screwed on straight. Maybe I can get a job there
that explain why your sites are so... well about art, you know it's a rare niche for someone who's trying to make money. I don't know much about it, but I just don't see too many sites like yours..
Thank you for the compliments.. however, GD and WD are not my strong points... My area of concentration was Scuplture, particularly large welded metal objects. Though the degree was in Fine Art with a concentration in Graphic Design. Working with metal offers both reductive and additive process. I like to rework things over and over, a block of stone just wouldn't cut it.
You found that in the robots.txt? http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=60547 Huh. They don't obey their own robots.txt?
Yeah, i saw it in robots.txt first, but actually if you click on "show more links" in google under the sponsored links section, you come to this page to.. Though I think these are just a handful of links, not all of them, for example, for this term the highest bid is $22, so there must be much more results i think..
So is googlebot following the javascript? Thinking about it, perhaps it was recently added to the robots.txt... I haven't checked the backlinks, but that thread is a day old. They should do a removal request! Looks like they should hire a better webmaster! I count 79... seems you click on the 'Next' link, it only shows one more page until you get to the end. Annoying for really hot keywords, but I haven't gone much further with any of them. Edit: http://www.google.com/search?q=link:www.google.com/sponsoredlinks More this way... http://www.google.com/sponsoredlinks?q=car+donation&start=100&sa=N (start=100) I count 156... /edit Perhaps these are just currently active, with daily budget still available? I hope they don't charge for the clickthru... someone could easily manipulate the system.
