Google webster tools is acting real wierd - site verification??

Just stopped by Google webmaster tools and it is saying my sites aren't verified (although they have been for a long time) and also it's saying none of my site's pages are in their index -- and I know damn well they are and they rank well for some important keywords.

I went ahead and clicked the verify site button (just to humor them) and it gives the bull about uploading the file and I checked my site and the file is there. Then I clicked the verify button and it says "temporarily unable...blah, blah, blah ...."

Anybody else having this problem???

 

Are they indexed in G now?

 

Yes -- fully indexed - have been for a very long time... referring to Hi-TechDirectory and Home Theater Systems Advice -- sites in my sig...

 

That's odd.
I've had problems verifying my sites (html verification,I assume you use that too),have no idea on this either,try "meta tag verification" then.

 

Yes I use .html and have already verified and the files are in my sites' page logs. Checked index with "site:..etc." and shows all pages indexed yet webster tools says they're not. Can you try and see if it is showing the same issue for your sites? I know darn well they are indexed and verified...???

 

I've never encountered this kind of problems.

 

I haven't either until tonight -- maybe it is some sort of temporary glitch in their system... Will try it again tomorrow or the next day (well prolly won't do it on Christmas either ) -- kinda busy with holiday stuff... been a looong day and night going to go ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzz for now

 

The problem is google is gay!

Same here. Looks like a google bug...

All of my sitemaps look like this:

1)
No pages from your site are currently included in Google's index. Indexing can take time.

2)
Verify your site.

This happens quite regulary to my sitemaps..... About 2-3 hours later everything is fine again..

So im NOT worried

 

there was a problem in google servers. It happend to me last day but today everything is ok... Last day i was warned that my site is not verified when i try to verify it was saying Google Servers are too busy try later..
Today i even dont have to try to validate.. everything seems to be ok as it was before

 

Yeah...I saw the same thing. I think its just temporary.

 

Yeppir - all is well again today -- sites are fully indexed and verified. What in the world is up with Google? Their datacenters have still not settled down from the last update and now this... Ya gotta wonder if the DOMZ (spelling intentional) bad karma is affecting Google??
