Google Website Optimizer

Just got approved for the Google Website Optimizer beta. Is anyone else using this with success?

If you haven't heard about it yet: http://services.google.com/websiteoptimizer/

I tried setting up a test and it couldn't seem to access my pages:

- Google couldn't detect them
- Tags couldn't be detected
- I couldn't upload the testing/goal page manually (just got redirected to previous step)

I don't have a robots.txt so that shouldn't be an issue for the first two. I guess this is why it is in beta still though

Looks like a very powerful tool though. Hopefully the support team will get back to me with a solution.

If you've used it let's hear some feedback

 

Maybe it's not working because it's just beta.. wait for the complete version to come out...

 

does this need an invite to join? if you've got an invite please send me one. id also like to try it out .

 

I think it is just for the adwords users.

Last time I checked it was that.

Yup you can just sign up but you may have to wait before you get to join, I waited about a week.

 

This tool is great for split testing and conversion tracking, another great freebie by Google
