Google WebmasterTools - subdomains

Hi,
I have web with subdomains (like travel.xxx.com & finance.xxx.com etc.)

I wanna submit my web to google webmaster tools. Can i submit just main domain (xxx.com) or I have to submit all my subdomains separately?

 

Separately, Google treats them as different web pages.

 

Try submitting both the domains separately and verify both of them with google webmaster tools. This will be best option in my point of view.

 

You'll need to create separate profiles within Webmasters.

You can add subdomains in Webmaster Tools, as well as directories. I have added like this:
domain.com
subdomain.domain.com
domain.com/dir

Submit as many sitemaps as you have. Its always better to tell Google what you have and where you have them.

 

You have to verify main doamin and sub domain both as they will be treated as different doamin.. In case you have a blog/site on subfolder like xxx.com/blog then Google will not ask you to put verification code. It will automatically verify it. But for subdomain, it will consider as separate domain.

 

I submit my subdomain and main domain seperately.
