Google Webmasters and statcounter showing different data

    Guys and gals,
    TOday after long time i logged into google webmasters and to my surprise for a keyword the rank was high on google webmasters, but i don't see the same traffic via statcounter... What could have happened ? Traffic change in google webmaster is impressive whereas i don't see single traffic on statcounter neither on adsense impressions ... I am puzzled...

    In webmaster tool it might have shown a change in rankings, where as GA tells exact visitors.

    Webmarster tools shows some days old information not of current date.so this might happen.even my site is having same problem

    statcounter and google webmaster is different so its possible to see different results. i suggest to use the web stat of google called google analytics..
