    How can I add my website to the google webmaster tools to track the data and errors and broken links ? Suggest me the ways ?

    login into google.com/webmasters/tools with you gmail account. at first you need to verify yourself as the owner of the site. That can by either by

    1.uploading a html file i your root directory of website or
    2. adding a meta tag into your prime landing page

    after the varification your can view your website statistics after a couple of hours in webmasters tools

    First of all login into google.com/webmasters/tools with your gmail account. Then add your website to google webmaster tool.

    You can download .html file and add it into your website root directory with FTP details.
    or you can copy the meta tags and upload it into your website.

    After uploading these files you need to verify your identity as the owner of the website.

    Its not really that hard. Just head over to Google Webmasters (use Google) and add the domain of your website. Then you will be required to put up a blank HTML file with a certain file name on your FTP to confirm your identity. Once done Google will list all your details for you within a weeks time.

    Hi,
    I have a problem with verification that is I have not followed the right path of uploading html file to the root directory of website, think so also you have mentioned about the second way can you explain"adding a meta tag into your prime landing page" If you can explain me how to track with google webmaster tool that would be great.

    login to webmaster tool and then you need to submit and verify your site. Submit xml sitemap and then you can easily track all details.

    Just goto google.com/webmasters/ and sign up with gmail id and password, then goto add website, put link your website and press continue. After that Google want verify of your website. There is three type of very your website

    First is
    . Download this HTML verification file.

    2. Upload the file to your website

    3. Confirm successful upload by visiting yourwebsite.com/googleGoolecode.html in your browser.

    4. Click Verify below.

    Second Add Meta tags in your website home page. Google give you a meta like <meta name="google-site-verification" content="e0-nWOjq29CClvbrcFriUeDw53EZd_X5W4-MQrCAwcw" />, put this meta in heas section of your home page. And doin after this just verify.

    Verify with analytic account

    Add your website in webmaster tool. then verify your domain to get more information about your website like visitors, backlinks, indexed pages etc...
