Does anyone here use GWT's to help them with their SEO ? I am new to using the program, but I can clearly see that it can help me adjust some of my pages and content including external links.
Yes. GWT is very useful and help to SEO. It is used for crawling our Page and understand our website status also.
GWT is one of the major tool to analyze your website content and understand how google sees your site.
Really you need GWT as a webmaster because without it you wouldn't now how google is indexing your site or if it may be having any issues with your site.
Fully agree, I use it a lot and it tells me a great deal of useful information about my site, visitors, keywords, links and so on.
I continue to use One Stop Marketing Internet Marketing services and their packages include a lot of useful tools for webmasters!
There are very few thing that I will say is a must, but using Google's Webmaster Tools is one. Not only does it tell you what Google really thinks about you site, the XML sitemap submission tool makes this function easy for everyone. Although it needs more functions added, this will come in time. I also use Yahoo's and MSN's but they are not that good yet.

The sitemap.xml submission capability alone makes GWT worth joining. There are other good features that I enjoy.
Not to mention on top of what Jim4767 said.... The ability to view your top 20 search query postions and top 20 clicks, you can also download ALL your queries and clicks if you look below the actual table, good luck figuring out the data, took me awhile. Don't forget, you can also view all the backlinks Google has found for you site, you can also download this as well.
And the related Google Analytics is chock full of useful information. I especially like its detailed breakdown of Traffic Sources.
I am now using this program also. But I find it not as accurate as my Wordpress "Statpress" plugin when it comes to visitors and page views.
Cliffmaster - Google "Analytics" vs Wordpress "statpress" have a time delay. Live stats are nice but don't judge anything this soon. Also, when we talk about Google Webmaster Tools, this is a completely different application from Google. Both are needed, but GWT will help you now to understand what Google is doing when it comes to indexing and such.
